Originally released as a part of Eddie's Archive, this was the first of three double CDs. It contains four separate live shows ^ two with Paul Di'anno on vocals, and two with Bruce Dickinson on vocals.
The quality is excellent, and it makes a nice historical package. The original version of "Killers", with different lyrics which apparently were made up five minutes before going on stage, is quite amusing. Disc one kicks in with three pioneering cuts from Steve Harris 'n' the boys, during the early days of the NWOBHM movement. Pulled from the BBC Radio 1 Friday Night Rock Show, on November 14th, 1979, Maiden deal out "Running Free", "Transylvania" and "Sanctuary". The remainder of the disc features nine live tracks from the group's 1982 appearance at the Reading Festival, during the massive Number Of The Beast Tour.
The second disc commences with six live cuts, including "Remember Tomorrow", "Killers" and "Transylvania", from Maiden's first Reading Festival gig, during August of 1980. Nine concert cuts from Iron Maiden's incredible headlining date at the 1988 Monster's Of Rock festival, at Castle Donington, close out the disc.
